Grosse Savanne & Louisiana duck hunting are almost synonymous and a veritable smorgasbord awaits hunters in the privately managed marshes and prairies in Southwest Louisiana. Located in the heart of the Central and Mississippi Flyways on the Gulf of Mexico, millions of birds fly through each fall and winter. Considered a "grand slam" for duck hunters, the lodge's 50,000 acres host most species, including mallards, pintails, woods, gadwalls and teals, as well as snows, blues, and speckle belly.
